Wage: $15.00/hour

Location: 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256

Schedule:

  • Hours of operation - Start: 8:00am End: 5:00pm

  • Preferred days for intern to come in for work: Monday - Friday

  • Preferred working hours for interns: 8:00am - 5:00pm

  • Employer recognized holidays and days off for staff:

    • Juneteenth - Thursday, June 19, 2025

    • Independence Day - Friday, July 4, 2025

The Opportunities

Position #1: AI-Driven Software Testing & Automation Intern

The student will investigate the feasibility of using AI-powered automated testing tools to generate, execute, and maintain software test cases. They will assess the potential benefits of AI-driven testing tools, focusing on return on investment (ROI), with the final deliverable being a proof of concept (POC) demonstration. Key initiatives include:

  • Assess AI-centric testing tools and evaluate their feasibility for use.
  • Improve efficiency in test coverage across the software testing process.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, comparing automated vs. AI-suggested test cases.
  • Assess AI supported visual testing.
  • Detect defects with AI supporting tools.
  • Define target metrics, which may include:
  • Increasing the speed of testing efforts.
  • Demonstrating the potential for faster launch times.
  • Enhancing product quality outcomes in relation to customer testing across components, systems, and end-to-end (E2E) solutions.

Position #2: Business Analytics & Strategic Effectiveness Intern

The Customer Project Management Office leads the coordination and execution of external customer implementations by developing, documenting, and managing professional project plans. These projects encompass the installation of new systems, major software or hardware upgrades, and legacy analyzer or digital solution conversions and ensures a seamless integration of Roche Diagnostics products by providing structured oversight and support throughout the implementation process.

  • Review and assess interactive analytical tools and visualization tools usage to retire and archive outdated content.
  • Develop new dashboards and/or reports.
  • Assist in the migration of large and complex data files as part of an annual server upgrade.
  • Attend and assist with key business stakeholder sessions, including gathering and documenting requirements and assessing existing data availability.
  • Provide feedback and support in the development of cohesive visual design and branding.

Who You Are

Position #1: AI-Driven Software Testing & Automation Intern

  • Indianapolis-based high school senior with a 2.8 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale.
  • Prior knowledge, interest, engagement in related STEM studies and professional fields with an emphasis on engineering and information technology.
  • Proficient in programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG) and the ability to integrate AI with these tools (preferred).
  • Proficient in the application of goal settings study skills, time management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships that foster a positive team environment along with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives.
  • You are responsible and possess discipline and determination. You are focused; a planner who likes to achieve and improve.
  • Active participation within a STEM-focused program with an emphasis on academic achievement, hands-on pre-engineering projects, experiential learning, and professional development.
  • Accepted into a college or university within a STEM field (preferred).

Position #2 Business Analytics & Strategic Effectiveness Intern

  • Indianapolis-based high school senior with a 2.8 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale.
  • Prior knowledge, interest, and engagement in related STEM studies and professional fields with an emphasis on engineering and information technology.
  • Proficient in software platforms (e.g. Microsoft, Google Drive, Smartsheet).
  • Proficient in the application of goal setting study skills time management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build-relationships that foster a positive team environment along with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives.
  • You are responsible and possess discipline and determination. you are focused; a planner who likes to achieve and improve.
  • Active participation within a STEM-focused program with an emphasis on academic achievement, hands-on pre-engineering projects, experiential learning, and professional development.
  • Accepted into a college or university within a STEM field (preferred).

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $15.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
