POSITION SUMMARY:
LivaNova has established a Sustainability strategy delivery program with global coordination to respond to regulatory requirements and commercial needs. The Sustainability commitment encompasses the Company's Sustainability Focus Areas - People, Products, and Planet.

The Sustainability Leader drives the Sustainability governance structure and is accountable for successful prioritization and execution of the strategy and associated initiatives. The Business Analyst partners with the Corporate Sustainability Team and is a member of LivaNova LEIP.

The Sustainability Business Analyst is mainly responsible for:

  • Assisting the Sustainability team to execute against the Sustainability strategy with data gathering/ analysis support
  • Maintain Greenhouse Gas (GHG) governance, process, system, data, and controls, mapping each to support Net 0 Cloud and 'E'-related sustainability requirements and disclosure readiness
  • PMO lead for GHG maturity initiatives to enable digitized, auditable, and scalable information - collaborating with business data owners to define and meet annual requirements/ goals
  • Drafting 'E'-related disclosures and maintaining related governance and controls mapping
  • Assisting to respond to Sustainability-related internal and external audit requests
  • Assisting with Sustainability transformational change management internally and externally.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Data aggregation and modeling, leveraging Lean methodology problem-solving tools
  • Lead identification of gaps/ risks and corrective actions with minimal guidance and supervision
  • Knowledge of Sustainability-related requirements including (1) GHG Scopes 1, 2, and 3 data aggregation and optimizations and (2) the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Standard (CSRD);
  • Quickly learn new processes, policies, and technologies;
  • Seek, understand and critically apply Sustainability industry trends and best practices
  • Build best-practice-based processes and globally collaborate to ensure alignment/ transparency
  • Documentation of governance, processes, controls, systems, and data via flow diagram, standard operating procedure (SOP), user guide; and
  • Implement and enforce Sustainability-related targets and metrics.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Consistently high-level communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while executing deliverables; and
  • Able to engage a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels (both internally and externally).
  • Able to motivate and coach others at various skill levels, seniority, cultural background
  • Robust collaboration with multiple time zones and where English is not the native tongue

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of data analyst expertise, with Sustainability-related experience
  • Strong Microsoft skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Table, Macros)
  • Experience with Salesforce Net 0 Cloud software.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this position is $80-90k/yr. + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location
