The Learning and Development Manager will own and drive people development strategies for Riveron, with a focus on supplying and managing the technical learning needs our client delivery professionals across multiple business segments and practices. This role will align best practices with the needs of the enterprise to continuously build a learning and adaptive culture at Riveron.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
- Master's degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development preferred
- Extensive background in professional services - strategically leading the design, development, implementation, and management of overall firm learning and development strategies
- Extensive experience analyzing significant amounts of data and utilizing it to drive results
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Knowledge of a variety of training delivery modes and adult learning principles
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and build a performance culture
- Ability to influence and coach leaders, including Director and Executive levels
- A business-minded people leader with several years of increasingly responsible HR/L&D positions with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a culture that is collaborative, client-service-oriented, and consultative.
- Self-starter who enjoys working in a continually evolving, fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and innovation, while maintaining a positive attitude and calm demeanor.
- Confident with strong personal initiative as someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done.
- A natural coach and mentor with an engaging and approachable personality.
- Experience in prioritization and negotiation with demonstrated ability to be effective in supporting multiple business leaders/partners working across different business areas of focus. Highly collaborative and action-oriented, with strong influencing skills; a change agent who can build collaborative relationships across a matrixed organization. Will have experience of working successfully with all levels of staff, from front-line to senior executive.
- Operationally focused with the ability to think strategically and deliver tactically.
- An ability to work with highly confidential, complex, and sensitive HR matters in an objective manner while using the lens of the firm's culture, values, and DE&I perspective.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with HR Business Partners and senior management to establish overall learning culture to attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Identify emerging learning and development tools and identify vendors for delivery as warranted
- Ensure people development strategies and initiatives are in place and measured appropriately throughout the organizational development process
- Support the implementation of complex organizational transformation, culture, and high-performance team initiatives throughout the business
- Deploy a competency structure and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and support the goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning processes.
- Develop frameworks to enable employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment through competency-based expectations and development systems
- Stay educated on and leverage best practices, benchmarks, new/innovative approaches within the field and across industries
- Identify and execute learning and development programs and strategies to close development gaps and ensure there is a clear path of growth and development for identified personnel
- Provide oversight for Learning Management System, ensuring content is continually refreshed and relevant in order to meet on-demand training needs
- Lead the creation of on-line learning paths based on competencies and skill sets and continually promote self-learning to the firm
- Ensure onboarding practices are effectively designed and implemented to promote efficient integration and accelerated impact
- Conduct assessments to determine ongoing and changing training and development needs of the firm. Recommend and implement new learning strategies based on assessment outcomes and leadership feedback.
The expected pay range for this position is $96,000 - $145,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible). This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; location and other business and organizational needs; and applicable laws.
