The Head of NE Government Affairs will be responsible for leading National Grid's government affairs initiatives in the New England region. This role reports to the Vice President of US Government Affairs, and serves as a strategic partner accountable to the Vice President of Corporate Affairs New England and as a member of the New England Corporate Affairs leadership team. The Government Affairs team partners closely with the Public Policy and Stakeholder Engagement teams in the Public Affairs & Policy Center of Excellence (COE) to set strategic public policy and advocacy direction within Corporate Affairs. The position leads the development and implementation of advocacy strategies to engage with state and local government officials, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders. The Head of NE Government Affairs will advocate for policies that support National Grid's objectives, enhance the company's reputation, and ensure effective communication of the organization's positions on critical issues. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent or equivalent experience More Information Salary $190,000 - $223,000 a year This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
