Systems Administrator

AGP is seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Administrator to oversee and manage the organization's server infrastructure. This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and security of AGP's servers and endpoint systems. The Systems Administrator also supports the organization's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) system and serves as the primary contact for the Virtual Desktop environment, online file storage, and Microsoft Teams collaboration rooms. This position requires both independent work and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, effective solutions for system incidents and issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers across Microsoft operating systems.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance enhancements.
• Manage patching and apply timely security updates to both server and desktop environments.
• Troubleshoot application and server issues, conducting thorough research to resolve root causes.
• Provide support for online file shares, MFA applications, and Microsoft Teams collaboration rooms.
• Manage and maintain the Azure cloud environment.
• Install, configure, and support applications hosted in Citrix.
• Serve as backup support for the AGP ticketing system.
• Oversee and manage company-issued and BYOD mobile devices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.

Education & Experience:

• Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in server administration and help desk support or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Cisco server equipment and Windows Server OS.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, system administration tools, and scripting languages.
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Citrix environments and virtual application hosting.
• Experience managing hypervisors and virtual machine environments.
• Solid grasp of patch management tools and practices.
