This position is responsible managing and coordinating the transportation program for our Independent Living and Assisted Living residents. This role requires excellent customer service and organizational skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide outstanding professional transportation services to Panorama residents, with strict adherence to traffic laws, safety requirements, and the proper use and care of all equipment.
  • Facilitate the promotion of Transportation offerings to all residents.
  • Maintain excellent communication with residents, families, staff, and community providers, including the prompt return of phone calls, verification of schedules, the sharing of Transportation contact information, and all other details needed to provide excellent service.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to Transportation staff. Oversee the recruitment, training and evaluation of staff and ensure staff maintain required certifications and training.
  • Create and maintain reservation schedule of vehicles and driver assignments.
  • Ensure Transportation vehicles are maintained in a clean, uncluttered condition and follow precisely all vehicle maintenance protocols. Schedule maintenance for vehicles and maintain maintenance records as required.
  • Track and reconcile billing for transportation services as required and submit timely to Accounting.
  • Manage grocery program to include the creation of online orders and ensure coordination with grocery delivery.
  • Provide transportation for last minute or emergency appointment requests.



REQUIREMENTS

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Washington State Driver's License and ability to be insured on Panorama vehicles.
  • CDL required
  • Three years driving experience required including vehicle performance/maintenance issues required.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Experience working with the geriatric population, care-giving, accessibility/mobility devices and features preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other administrative tasks such as scheduling required.
  • Ability to clearly read, write, speak, and understand the English language
