There are thousands of children who rely on free or reduced lunch during the school year, and when school ends many would go hungry without help. Feed The Kids is a 10-week summer meals program for children living in Milwaukee's underserved neighborhoods. About 1,500 meals are distributed Monday-Friday, June-August, to 21 different neighborhoods, parks, and street corners on Milwaukee's north and south side. The meal consists of a sandwich, fruit, snack, and juice or water. The Salvation Army has provided more than 2 million meals through the Feed The Kids program since 1990. If you want to help make a difference help cure hunger this summer, apply now! This is a seasonal position. Employment dates are from June 17 through August 22, 2025; Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. (Times may be adjusted due to work volume.) The Feed the Kids Driver will drive a Salvation Army vehicle transporting meals and youth on the Feed the Kids program team to established drop-off sites.
