POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing the operations Production Loader, Haul Trucks, Water Truck, Clean Up Loader, Dozer, and Grader in a safe and most efficient way possible while making every attempt to keeping up with whatever rate is needed to keep raw material feed for continuous operation of the plant, mining operations, stockpiling, or material hauling. People in this position are responsible for keeping a clean and safe work place and letting management know promptly of an hazards that the encounter at the operation. Persons holding this position must be trained all functions of this position. Do

any and all job functions that are needed and that the person is trained to do.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

  • Load Haul Trucks in a safe and efficient manner keeping up with production or hauling needs
  • Perform required workplace and equipment pre-shift documents
  • Perform preventive and light maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Tell the Mine Foreman and Manager of safety hazards
  • Operate Haul Trucks in a safe and most efficient manner keeping up with material hauling needs
  • Perform required workplace and equipment pre-shift documents
  • Perform preventive and light maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Tell the Mine Foreman and Manager of safety hazards
  • Operate Water Trucks in a safe and efficient manner keeping up and getting ahead of water needs at the operation
  • Tell the Mine Foreman and Manager of safety hazards
  • Clean Up Loader -Clean out heading to keep the mining operations going without delay
  • Do any loader work that needs done at the operation
  • Do any assigned work to the best of your ability and training
  • Tell the Maintenance Manager, Mine Manager, or Mine Foreman of safety hazards, repairs, or help that is needed to operate the plant in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate the plant within its means to help minimize issues that could occur from break downs and plug up
  • Perform other duties as assigned

ATTRIBUTES:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels
  • Will be working at times in office environment but mainly in a mining environment
  • The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Mineral Particles
  • The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting
  • * Ability to consistently lift over 50 pounds as needed

REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Technical training or AA degree in technical related field is desired.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Previous heavy manufacturing and/or mining experience is highly preferred. The ability and willingness to work any shift, be on call, overtime, and weekends. Ability to work within a team environment. Good attendance and safe working habits are required. Ability to multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency to meet customer needs. Previous heavy equipment experience is desired.

For this position, being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment.
