In this role, you'll be part of the Kennecott Asset Management department, focusing on the maintenance of heavy mobile equipment. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively, enhance your technical skills, and contribute to the reliability and efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities
- Engage actively in discussions and initiatives that promote our "Zero Harm" safety culture.
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical components on large haulage trucks and support equipment, adhering to MSHA standards and standard work instructions.
- Work closely with Maintenance Support to develop safe and efficient standard work instructions, drive maintenance improvements, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
What You'll Need
- A strong dedication to performing tasks safely and intelligently.
- Ability and willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts (both days and nights).
- Relevant experience in heavy industry/mining or a mechanical trade.
- Competency in welding, basic hydraulics, and mechanical/electrical fundamentals.
- Valid Driver's License.
