Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Data Engineer (ETL/SQL/Pyspark) with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 24+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Serve as a lead developer supporting the Finance Data Aggregator (CADS) build-out of the conformance layer on the DPC platform for all Finance use cases Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using the PySpark framework Apply deep SQL expertise to support complex data transformations, ingestion, and integration efforts Design scalable, efficient data solutions supporting Finance data workflows and conformance requirements Analyze and resolve complex data engineering challenges, incorporating innovative and efficient practices Ensure adherence to compliance, data governance, and security standards Collaborate strategically with Software Engineering and Finance stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver on project goals Provide documentation and support to promote solution adoption and knowledge sharing across teams Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent (work, consulting experience, training, military, or education) Strong hands-on experience with ETL development using PySpark Deep technical capabilities in SQL development, optimization, and troubleshooting Experience supporting financial services data platforms Background working with data aggregation platforms and conformance layers Familiarity with Agile methodologies and associated tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security practices Pay Range: $60-70 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
