COLLEGE COACH Summer Internship: Radiology Informatics Intern Who we are Boston Children's Hospital (BCH) is currently ranked as the #1 children's hospital in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. It provides comprehensive and specialized care for infants, children, and adolescents and is a leader in pediatric research, contributing to significant advancements in medical science. BCH also offers a specialized programs and services, including cariology, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics. The hospital is affiliated with Harvard Medical School and plays a key role in training the future pediatric healthcare professionals. BCH's family-centered care emphasizes a holistic approach, providing extensive support services for families so they have comprehensive care and support through their medical journey. The opportunity The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 9-Friday, August 8, 2025. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week. We are using AI in language (e.g., clinical reports) and images (e.g., brain MRI) to understand brain development in normal and disease. What you'll do The interns will be working closely with graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in our lab. We will discuss with the interns for a topic that meets the intern's personal interests and our ongoing project. This position is Hybrid What you'll get AI in healthcare and a stronger understanding how it is used. Who you are You are an undergraduate college student interested working in healthcare Familiarity with ChatGPT is a strong plus. Other skills/interests in AI, brain development, and healthcare are preferred but not mandatory. The interns will work on computers and will be expected to join us toward publications. Recruitment process Internship opportunities: We aim to have all summer internship opportunities posted by February 28. They will be posted on a rolling basis as managers determine their availability to host an intern. Resume review & interviews: Applications will be screened, forwarded to managers as appropriate, and interviews will be scheduled. Offer decision: We will follow up within one week of your interview. Onboarding: Those selected for the internship program will complete onboarding by May to ensure a smooth start to the program.
