Part-time Engineering Co-Op Student
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Read paper and digital well and log files to collect and digitize information
- 10-key and digitize data from paper and electronic reports
- Scan and digitize paper files, as necessary
- Gather and input critical production, pressure, logging, completion data into databases
- Work with engineers, geoscientists, and IT team to consolidate digital database repositories
- Handle special projects, as assigned
- Proficient in anticipating matters at hand and initiating action without requiring direction or supervision
- Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation
- Supports company vision and mission
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with technical reservoir and production analysis and projects, as needed
- Maintains employee confidence and protects operations, by keeping information confidential
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
- Required: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Preferred: Microsoft Access, PowerBI, Spotfire, database architecture (SQL, Oracle)
Education Requirements:
- Required: Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent. Pursuing degree in Engineering
- Preferred: Pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in Petroleum Engineering
