DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Project Manager 3, you will be responsible for leading a team of project and program managers comprised of employees and contractors who execute large and complex IT programs. This specialized team is accountable to deliver on-time, in-budget IT solutions for business critical projects. Within this role, you will be accountable for portfolio management, project management policy and standards development, and resource capacity planning. Another key responsibility ensuring accurate and transparent reporting and metrics on both a project and portfolio level as a means to communicate the overall health of the portfolio and assist with identifying new opportunities for IT innovation and improvement. You will oversee complex professional and administrative work directing the initiation, planning, execution, controlling, and closing of the most complex, high priority and sensitive information IT projects. This position also affords the opportunity to influence and lead organizational change that positively impacts the agile teams of the delivery center and moves the organization towards its strategic goals. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six years of experience in leading IT projects and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes six years of experience in leading IT projects.
