                    The Demand Planning Analyst supports the Demand Planning process and collaborates with the account and business development teams to analyze and fine tune sales forecasts.

                    Additionally, the Demand Planning Analyst will focus on improving key Demand Planning metrics. This role will identify gaps and opportunities to drive collaboration and improve the overall process.

                    The Demand Planning Analyst will also drive continuous improvement throughout the organization and lead key Demand Planning projects.

                    ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:



                    • Owns demand planning for key accounts and supports the SIOP process to arrive at the Demand Consensus plan.
                    • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns and subsequently implement solutions to improve the accuracy of demand forecasting.
                    • Coordinates with supply planning team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels.
                    • Monthly reporting and analysis of actual sales results against the Demand Consensus plan.
                    • Reviews the monthly demand plan for key accounts vs. the annual Business Plan.
                    • Utilize statistical models and data analysis to predict future sales volumes for various products across different time periods.
                    • Leads continuous improvement projects, proactively and without prompting, pulling in stakeholders from across the entity.
                    • Leads cross functional meetings to ensure key stakeholders provide feedback and updates which could influence finished goods demands.
                    • Monitor and report on significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
                    • Identifies and elevates risks to the Demand Planning Manager.
                    • Monitor forecast accuracy, identify areas for improvement, and implement new forecasting techniques to enhance reliability.
                    • Become a system expert on Logility Demand Solutions planning tool.
                    • Addresses demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
                    • Updates forecasts for new products, seasonal products, discounts, and promotions


                    Organizational Alignment



                    • Reports to the Demand Planning Manager.
                    • Closely collaborates with peers - Supply/Production Planners and Account Managers.
                    • Interacts with enterprise cross-functional partners, particularly Sales, Customer Service, Business Development, Operations Management, Technology, and Supply Chain.
                    • Interacts with Demand Planning Manager to support the SIOP process, identifies and elevates risks.
                    • Fosters close, cooperative relationships with peers, and Ascentek enterprise-wide support personnel.



                    Education:




                    • Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related fields.




                    Experience and/or Training:



                    • 0-2 years of experience in operations, supply chain management and/or demand management planning.
                    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical modeling.
                    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
                    • Business acumen and knowledge of market dynamics.
                    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
                    • Understanding of business disciplines and financial information, particularly as it pertains to cash flow, margins, and profitability.
                    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, both inside the company and external partners.
                    • Ability to identify and achieve "win/win" agreements. Utilizes a variety of techniques and approaches to influence others.
                    • Experience in lean continuous improvement, problem-solving, use of 80/20 principles, and Traction EOS management systems.
                    • A solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
                    • The capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
                    • Experience with Logility, or other forecasting tools.
                    • Experience with JDE or like ERP systems with an understanding of MRP supply/demand planning principles.



                    PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

                    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. As well as problem solve, make decisions and critical thinking.

                    WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

                    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous material when in our warehouse facilities.

                    May include up to 5% business travel.

                    The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $65,170 and $82,985 annually. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:



                    1. Experience and qualifications: The depth of relevant experience and specific skills you bring to the position.
                    2. Education and certifications: Any additional qualifications that enhance your ability to succeed in the role.
                    3. Market and industry benchmarks: We compare compensation packages with industry standards to ensure we are competitive.
                    4. Internal equity: We strive to maintain pay equity across the organization to ensure fairness for all teammates performing similar work.
