Overview

The Finance Planning and Analysis Manager 4 is responsible for leading and partnering with senior leaders to drive planning and analysis with overall decision support to drive results and strategy. This role monitors financial results and trends which provide thorough review of the business's current budget results to senior leaders which includes long-range modelling to validate financial projections.



What you will be doing

    Partner with company leadership to provide the financial skills and tools necessary for them to accomplish their business objectives.
  • Build and maintain financial and operational models that support various.
  • Become subject matter expert on various P&L items including bookings commissions royalties and/or operating expenses and cost of goods sold.
  • Consolidate and analyze bookings revenue annual reoccurring revenue (ARR) and other key performance indicators to provide better insight into metrics spanning the revenue teams.
  • Be an integral member of various project teams to change/improve processes as the company evolves.
  • Develop forecasts andanalysis on customer and ARR related metrics while providing leadership on the implications of these metrics
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities through variance analysis scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis
  • Conduct market analysis and industry benchmarking to inform growth strategies
  • Develop and present dashboards reports and executive summaries highlighting financial performance and KPIs
  • Identify areas for operational efficiencies and implement process improvements within the finance function
  • Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledge
  • Operate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends
  • Mentor coach train and provide feedback to other team members; provide feedback to leadership on abilities of team


What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of related experience in a senior financial or strategic role
  • Strong experience with FP&A and BI analytics tools like Adaptive Insights and PowerBI
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with executive presence
  • Excellent organizational multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills applied successfully within a team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent leadership sound judgement and business acumen skills
  • Excellent facilitation and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of the department
  • Excellent data gathering interviewing and analytical/problem solving skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management capabilities; able to work under deadlines to produce key deliverables
  • Strong research and analysis skills including financial modeling and valuation
  • Strong financial business modeling and analysis skills; sound business judgment
  • Excellent skills in both understanding and interpreting financial statements (income statement balance sheet and cash flow statement) and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation of new ideas and design solutions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independently
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to influence motivate and mobilize team members and business partners
  • Excellent ability to develop and use engaging informative and compelling presentation methodologies

  • Up to 5% of travel time required
  • Enterprise SaaS within a high-growth environment.
  • Microsoft Windows and Office proficiency
  • Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $124,000-$155,000 and eligible for benefits
