Position Summary:
The Program Manager, Automotive Sales is responsible for leading the coordination of proposals and quotes for end effectors and power clamps. S/he will have responsibility to guide cross-functional teams focused on interfacing with sales and production to ensure parts and timing can be met. S/he will oversee all aspects of the quote and cost estimating process including developing initial project schedules and resource estimates, tracking expenses to budget, and monitoring key activities throughout the process to ensure schedules and project goals are met.
Key Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Promotes safety awareness with other members of the organization. Promotes accident prevention and employee involvement in regard to a safe work environment. Ensures employees have an understanding of the safety expectations of the organization.
- Support outside sales efforts at all Automotive Accounts in North America (including quote preparation, pricing and availability, managing annual stock returns, new product introductions, and co-op opportunities)
- Own and manage administrative aspects of the sales process including reviewing sales activity, opportunities, updates on new programs/products, etc.
- Leads the coordination of quoting and cost estimating process for End Effectors and Power Clamps in the U.S. at DESTACO.
- Coordinate sales activities at assigned channel partners and key accounts.
- Build and manage customer relationships and effectively prepares all commercial documents, answers queries from sales and customers on stock and shipment of orders.
- In partnership with Operations team, develops a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources and monitors the progress of the project to insure successful completion on large End Effector and Power Clamps programs per customer requirements.
- Identifies risks/opportunities throughout the project and highlights them for stakeholder discussions
- Creates and reports dashboard metrics on a monthly basis for executive leadership review.
- Evaluates the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase and identifies best practices and continuous improvement opportunities
- Analyzes trends related to sales for key customers and provide input for forecasting reviews.
- Provide technical services to customers and channel partners.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in project or sales management in an engineering/manufacturing environment
- Successful track record of managing projects to achieve schedule and cost targets
- Successful leadership and execution of management process, managing cross functional teams
- Experience in collaborating with leaders and leading teams to drive projects
- Extensive computer skills including Microsoft Office

Education and Certification Qualifications:
