The Finance Process Services Operations Excellence Manager will lead the efforts for Finance Shared Services internal and cross-functional operations standardization efforts, provide leadership on large and impactful projects and drive insightful analytics while also overseeing the FPS Data Operations team. This role will be a part of and partner with the FPS leadership team and business stakeholders to drive process change and improvement throughout our operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Improvement and Project Management:
    • Work with FPS and business teams to drive efficiency through continuous improvement projects and initiatives to deliver against annual targets
    • Run projects that add to our process standardization initiatives and/or technology stack and create the ability to make better data focused insights or make the team and company more efficient.
  • Business Engagement:
    • Engage with FPS team and stakeholders regarding business strategy and objectives for automating and optimizing financial processes. Meet regularly with FPS functional leaders ensure that the financial applications are functioning as designed and supporting their needs.
  • Leadership:
    • Ability to manage your work to deliver on agreed to dates and deadlines and communicate any risks or issues to those.
    • Supervise the Data Operations team responsible for supplier and customer master updates and weekly payment runs, ensuring controls and delegations of authority are properly followed
    • Directly and indirectly lead project teams to successful completion of initiatives for FPS
  • Reporting:
    • Partner with FPS leadership ensure SLAs are being achieved on a daily and monthly basis, recommending updates to SLAs and/or process enhancements to achieve stronger outcomes
    • Ensure timely, accurate and relevant reporting of FPS results
    • Leverage PowerBI to create dashboards for FPS AR and AP performance and operational tracking
    • Partner with functional managers to ensure there is full alignment of measurement strategies for AR and AP across the FPS organization
  • Expertise:
    • Provide technical expertise and advice on financial process issues to functional or operational area managers and help them develop and execute process improvement strategies, and data analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of experience leading or influencing Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
  • Prior direct leadership experience with increasing responsibilities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement skills
  • Experience developing and improving upon PowerBI and similar reporting tools to derive business insights and value

Additional Qualifications

  • Advanced degree
  • Experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma or similar tools and processes
  • Experience managing projects of varying size and complexity
  • Certification in or experience administering systems such as SAP Concur, FIS GetPaid, Coupa

Pay Range

  • $125,000 - $145,000
