The Primary work location for this postion can be based in the following locations: Albany, Saratoga Springs and Plattsburg, NY Purpose of the position Signalman/Assistant Signalman are primarily responsible for maintaining and operating the wayside signal systems signals, crossing and tracks to ensure safe train movement by supervising and adjusting signals, In the role, you will be encouraged to identify malfunctions, and performing crucial repairs to the signal equipment. The hourly rate is $26.65 - $36.83 per hour (with opportunity for increases, as per the applicable collective bargaining agreement, after the start of employment and seniority).
