As an intern on the embedded software test team, you will work on products that are delivered to world-class customers and ensure that they have been thoroughly tested and deliveries are rock-solid! Responsibilities: Create and execute on test plans during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases of the product Find issues and triage/debug them with team members in the software organization Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression test suites Work on the internal automation framework enhancements Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering Knowledge of embedded systems and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as (Python/shell, C, C++, etc.) Excellent interpersonal skills (both in spoken and written English) Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Understanding of MCU and DSP cores/processors Understanding of software testing and test automation principles Familiar with defect management practices Familiar with SDLC Familiar with Jira, svn/git, and Continuous Integration systems (e.g., Jenkins) This opportunity is available for the fall semester only. It is available only to students currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Electrical Engineering, maintaining a GPA of 3.6 or above, and who will be returning to school for at least one semester following completion of his/her internship.
