The salary range for this role is:

$18.70 - $25.20

Responsibilities:

Del Monte Foods is actively seeking a motivated and detail orientated Seasonal HR Assistant for our Plover, WI location. This position is a seasonal role, which will begin in early June through late September. This is a great opportunity to help one nation's largest food manufacturing and distribution companies feed America and drive our people forward!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with onboarding and orientation process for seasonal employees.
  • Handle all front counters/employees to assure proper placement and assistance of employees.
  • Support HR staff with administrative duties, including incoming/outgoing calls, data entry, and reporting.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and communication.
  • Ensure proper paperwork is completed relative to leaves of absences, sick leave, or other issues brought upon by employees.
  • Respond to employee questions and direct them to appropriate resources.
  • Effectively communicate with various departments/teams to ensure coverage/issues are resolved.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide general office support to the HR department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • The ability to learn skills quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • 1 year of administrative support experience (preferably in HR)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Great task management skills and detailed orientated
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
  • Flexible/open availability to ensure office coverage
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills
  • Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)
