DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Human Resource Analyst 2 is assigned to the Human Services HR Office/Division of HR Field Operations. Your work will include planning, organizing, directing, and managing the human resource functions for the County Assistance Offices (CAO) within the Department of Human Services (DHS) OIM Area 2. Work is performed with a high degree of independence with an emphasis on close collaboration with the Executive Director/Management of each office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to function as the Labor Relations Coordinator for the local CAO Labor Relations Program, in addition to administering numerous HR Programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
  • May change based on operational needs.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to an office location on a full-time basis.
  • Position location may depend on the selected candidate's location. You will be required, when needed, to travel to worksites in OIM/Area 2.
  • This is a multi-county position. Your physical work location must be at one of the following locations:
    • Dauphin CAO: 2432 N 7th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101
    • York CAO: 130 N Duke St, York, PA 17401
    • Lancaster CAO: 832 Manor St, Lancaster, PA 17601
    • Berks CAO: 625 Cherry St, Reading, PA 19602
    • Chester CAO: 100 James Buchanan Drive, Thorndale, PA 19372
    • Bucks CAO: 1214 Veterans Highway, Bristol, PA 19007
    • Delaware CAO: 701 Crosby Street, Suite A, Chester, PA 19013
  • Overtime: As needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Human Resource Analyst 1 or Equal Opportunity Specialist 1
  • (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or

  • Two years of analytical experience that includes one year of professional human resource or equal opportunity experience, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
