A Brief Overview The Division of Pediatric Urology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking to recruit a fulltime Pediatrician to staff the Dysfunctional Outpatient Voiding Education (DOVE) clinical program. Applicant must be trained in pediatrics or relevant pediatric subspecialties and be board certified in pediatrics with at least three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience. Clinical focus will be on evaluating and treating pediatric bladder dysfunction. No prior urologic experience treating these conditions is required and on-site education/training will be provided. There are no call responsibilities. The physician who evaluates, treats, manages patients with bladder dysfunction and associated conditions, documents medical findings in EPIC, provides support to patients, families and colleagues, collaborates with other relevant specialists, office administration and nursing staff. Will see pediatric patients of all ages, both male and female and will diagnose and treat various conditions associated with bladder dysfunction. Order and interpret labs, imaging and other testing as appropriate and consult other specialists when needed. Be familiar with an electronic medical record. Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, legal, regulatory and clinical standards and requirements including (but not limited to): HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission, DOH and CLIA. May represent CHOP with external organizations, professional associations upon request. About the Department The new physician will join a team of 13 pediatric urologist, 2 clinical psychologist, a social worker, and a full complement of advanced practice providers. Full-time status includes (1.0 FTE) includes clinical responsibilities at CHOP's Philadelphia, King of Prussia campus and Abington satellite office. What you will do
