Responsibilities

Are you ready to lead the charge in creating a vibrant and supportive community? As our Residential Manager, you'll be the superhero of our campus or residence, ensuring that the Newport program runs like a well-oiled machine every day! Your mission? To uphold our values, spark innovation, and empower our amazing Residential Supervisors to shine in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervisory Sidekick: Lead and inspire our Residential Supervisors with weekly feedback, coaching, and training that makes them feel like rock stars!

Communication Guru: Be the bridge between our fantastic clinical team and the residential crew, ensuring everyone is on the same page and ready to support our clients.

Values Champion: Make sure our Newport Healthcare values are front and center at all locations-because we're all about creating a positive impact!

Daily Briefing Wizard: Share exciting updates and individualized care plans with Residential Supervisors during our daily Flash meetings-think of it as our morning pep rally!

Safety Sentinel: Use reports and observations to keep our environment safe and sound-because safety first means fun can follow!

Scheduling Maestro: Create staffing schedules, tackle any scheduling hiccups, approve payroll, manage PTO requests, and conduct performance evaluations-keeping everything running smoothly.

Training Rockstar: Present at new hire orientations and lead engaging training sessions for Residential Supervisors that leave them inspired and ready to take on the world!

Delegation Dynamo: Pass the baton to Residential Supervisors during shifts and provide support for any tricky employee relations issues-teamwork makes the dream work!

Knowledge Sharer: Conduct training sessions using our Newport library resources for new direct care staff and check in monthly to keep everyone on track.

Talent Scout: Collaborate with HR and the Residential Director to find and hire new team members, coordinating interviews and keeping the applicant tracking system up to date.

Department Connector: Act as the friendly liaison with other departments like HR and Compliance-because teamwork makes everything better!

Crisis Commander: Roll up your sleeves and manage any escalation or crisis situations on the floor, ensuring everyone feels supported.

Intake Innovator: Oversee the intake process for new residents, making sure all consents are collected and everyone feels welcomed.

Other Adventures: Take on additional duties as assigned-because every day is a new opportunity for fun and growth!


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, counseling, psychology, or social work preferred or working towards the same OR
  • State approved credential OR
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working with adolescents/young adults and families with co-occurring disorders.
  • Two (2) years' experience in a supervisory or management role preferred.
  • The minimum age is 18 years old as a requirement for employment.
  • Health Screening, TB Clearance, valid CPR and Criminal Record Clearance are required prior to employment.

Compensation for this role ranges from $75,000-$80,000 per year depending on education and experience.
