Program Manager - BGIF-BOSS

Astrion is looking for a passionate and experienced Program Manager to join our innovative team supporting groundbreaking government space sensing missions. Located at the OPIR Tools, Applications, and Processing Laboratory (OPIR TAP Lab) and Boulder Ground Innovation Facility (BGIF), you will play a pivotal role in delivering technology solutions critical to our nation's security.

The BGIF-BOSS contract is a defense contracting opportunity for the Space Systems Command, Air Force, which focuses on research and development in physical, engineering, and life sciences products and services.

Clearance Required: Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility

SALARY RANGE: Estimated $180,000 USD - $250,000 USD annually.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead execution of a strategic contract supporting SSC's OPIR TAP Lab and BGIF, ensuring successful program delivery, alignment with mission objectives, and satisfaction of stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary liaison with senior Government leadership, delivering timely, clear, and strategic updates on all contract activities.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary authority responsible for overall contract knowledge, execution, and results.

Exciting Responsibilities:

  • Oversee groundbreaking technology exploitation and developmental projects in the Remote Sensing domain.
  • Drive effective operations and facility management of advanced technology laboratories.
  • Coordinate extensive Information Technology services supporting multiple classification levels, ensuring seamless operational continuity and innovation.
  • Facilitate proof-of-concept studies and rapid transition of revolutionary capabilities into operational status.

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of industry-related experience in Program Management, Aerospace, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Master's degree in management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with eligibility for SCI.
