POSITION SUMMARY

The UPM II provides supervision and guidance to all staff on the assigned unit (s). Assure safety of patients and staff and responds to challenges of patient population by following approved and therapeutic policies and strategies. The UPM II abides by service excellence standards and culture of accountability. Engages in a positive and encouraging way with supervisees, peers, colleagues, patients, administration and guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred Master's Degree
• Vocational/Technical School Graduate
• Valid Class C Drivers License

• Nursing and/or Social Worker license in State of

  Texas or other related licensur

• 3-5 Years of Related Work Experience
• Essential Physical Requirements: Medium demand, mentally and physically requiring walking, sitting, standing, occasional bending, reaching and lifting, with ability to participate in crisis intervention techniques with patients requiring physical control. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
