Position Summary
The CT Technologist performs routine and emergency CT imaging exams, ensuring patient safety, quality control, and adherence to hospital protocols while providing exceptional care and clear communication to patients and families.

New hires may be eligible for a sign on bonus up to $15,000.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency CT imaging exams, reviewing requisitions and selecting appropriate equipment while ensuring patient identification and safety.

  • Assess and support patients' physical and emotional needs, clearly explaining procedures and radiation exposure to patients and families.

  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions to maintain proper functioning of CT machines.

  • Assist with organizing and maintaining daily operations within the imaging department.

  • Complete accurate documentation, comply with hospital policies and regulations, and participate in ongoing professional development and departmental activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

  • Associates degree in Allied Health; Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist

License/Certification:

  • RT/CT Massachusetts State License
  • Advanced CT Massachusetts State License is required within 12 months of hire date for CT trainees.
  • RT/CT registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
  • Must meet, successfully complete, and maintain the ARRT certification.
  • BLS certification
