YPP Group Leader Assistant - PRN to work in Atchison. The Guidance Center (TGC) is the Community Mental Health Center for Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas. We are currently seeking a Youth Psychosocial Program Group Leader Assistant to provide attendant care services to clients participating in the Center's YPP program. As an employee of TGC, you will have the opportunity to help the most vulnerable population in Kansas. We are the only provider that offers counseling, case management, psychosocial, and medication services all at the same site. Primary Duties for YPP Group Leader Assistant 1. Assist with promoting successful group interactions among consumers 2. Encourage and support clients' engagement in YPP activities 3. Encourage and support clients' efforts to effectively problem-solve and interact with others 4. Work respectfully and supportively with clients' parents/caregivers, while observing appropriate boundaries 5. Serve as Attendant on van transportation routes as assigned 6. Facilitate/co-facilitate groups as assigned 7.. Transport clients to and from appointments and activities when necessary. 8. Understand direct service requirements and efficiency goals established by TGC for the position, and achieve same 9. Provide documentation (clinical notes, reports, and other professional products) which complies with TGC's Quality Improvement standards and the requirements of all funding sources.
