Position Type:Permanent Full Time/Part Time:Full Time

Open Until Filled.

$17.88 to $19.67 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. North Area/Titusville. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Performs experienced service maintenance work in the routine maintenance and repair of building or drainage structures, facility operating systems, grounds, and/or mechanical equipment related to the area of assignment. Employees may assist skilled crafts and trades workers and may direct the work of Maintenance Workers.

REQUIREMENTS: One (1) year of experience in building, mechanical or equipment repair and maintenance related to carpentry, masonry, fences, handrails, irrigation and the repair of small engine equipment such as mowing and landscaping equipment, generators, and mobile pumps. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience in opening and closing work orders using a work management system, to organize, document, and track small engine equipment inventory, parts, and repairs is preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. This is moderate physical work performed outdoors and indoors that involves exposure to fumes, dirt, dust, noise, moving machinery, odors, traffic, and extreme weather conditions. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, or any natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
