Promotions Specialist

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job type: Full time

Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Salary: $22 - $30/hour

**Compensation for this position includes hourly salary, short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role.

What You'll Do

Provide marketing materials and support to Viking Electric by working with the Marketing Team, Product Managers, other Viking Electric associates, and external sources as needed.

You will...



  • Develop, create, produce, and distribute marketing communication materials including emails, digital signage, corporate literature, product/services brochures, website content, customer communications, presentations, video, and all other communication and collateral material.
  • Communicate key messages and calls to action using appropriate style, language, and tone for target audiences.
  • Collaborate with the Viking Electric marketing team, Sonepar Marketing, and other departments/ locations in support of marketing plans and Viking Electric goals.
  • Manage content on all platforms to ensure materials are up to date, relevant, and available.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturer representatives in support of campaigns and plans.



What You Bring

Requirements:



  • Post secondary education with emphasis on graphic arts or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in marketing is preferred.
  • Strong MAC skills
  • Proficient in the Adobe Design Suite
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of marketing and branding principles.
  • Excellent communication, organization and collaboration skills.
  • Valid driver's license to visit customers, job sites, and vendors in the local area
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
