HOURS: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm

As a studio photographer, you will create digital photography to be used on both the web and in print pieces. Photographers will be responsible for shooting product and model both in the studio and on location. Photographers will schedule, coordinate and provide photographic services/support to a number of internal departments.

Here's what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
  • Working knowledge of manual mode means that you are capable and comfortable with evaluating your camera light meter and choosing the appropriate manual settings.
  • Working knowledge of software used for camera, lenses and lighting and all studio equipment.
  • 4imprint standards look and styling.
  • Indoor studio commercial tabletop product shooting.
  • Responsible for examining items, prep work, propping and styling of all products being photographed to show them in the best possible manner.
  • System knowledge navigating the fact book, internet communication with other departments to get answers to avoid re-shoots.
  • Understanding of new product workflow, for print, rushes, specialty and bulk adds.
  • To create digital photography to be used on both the web and in print pieces.
  • Understand and communicate special technology information on workspace for a verity of shoots.
  • Indoor, outdoor and various location shooting.
  • Capture digital images and composition ensuring the final image of our product meets requirements for high-resolution output to be used on our web site and in printed materials.
  • Setup and maintain a photography schedule to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Food prepping.

  • Someone confident in using a digital camera, studio lighting, and related equipment.
  • Someone with experience with prepping, styling, and setup.
  • Someone who has a working understanding standing in the methodology in production of a great image.
  • Someone who has a range of techniques required ability to shoot a wide range of surfaces and shapes.
  • Someone with excellent communication, organizational, and scheduling skills.
  • Someone able to work with deadlines.
  • Someone experienced with Adobe Photoshop, color correcting, color conversion and image manipulation.
  • Someone who has attention to detail.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic who takes the initiative to solve problems and follow up.
  • Someone who is able to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Someone who participates in training classes and actively seeks professional development.

Required education/skills/experience:

  • Associate's degree in related field.
    1. Applicants with equivalent, relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 2-5 years of experience in studio and location photography, along with digital product photography.
  • Demonstrated use of digital camera, studio lighting and equipment.
  • Knowledge of all Studio and location Equipment.
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop, color correcting, color conversion and image manipulation a plus.
  • Knowledge of imprinting methods and experience in the promotional products industry a plus
  • Basic working knowledge of digital studio photography related skills and terminology a plus

A professional portfolio that demonstrates commercial tabletop product and lifestyle images is required.
