We're looking for an experienced Senior Voiceover Designer to join the team. Reporting to the Dialogue Lead, you have proven experience in AAA production with an emphasis on high quality dialogue. This role requires a blend of creative and technical skills, along with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments. We are looking for someone who is passionate about storytelling through audio and can help create an immersive experience for our players.

What You'll Do...

  • Help with the editorial and mastering of Cinematic and Gameplay voice-over assets.
  • Implement voice-over assets using Wwise, Unreal Engine and proprietary toolsets.
  • Participate in and prepare materials for PCAP and Booth voiceover recording sessions.
  • Use creative processing to bring life to alien NPCs and AI enemies.
  • Help with the transcription and implementation of subtitles for cinematics.
  • Collaborate with several departments including Narrative, Audio, Animation, and Localization to ensure cohesive dialogue integration.

Ideally, you will have...

  • 5+ years of experience on AAA titles focusing on high-quality dialogue. Ideal if you have shipped 1 or more games.
  • Experience with creative processing and implementation.
  • Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., ProTools or Reaper) and game audio middleware (e.g., Wwise).
  • Familiarity with localization processes for game dialogue.
  • Experience with creating immersive audio experiences in games.
  • Familiarity with the Star Wars universe is a plus.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine is beneficial.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $107,600 - $147,100 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $122,400 - $176,300 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
