Summary

This position is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining multi-discipline Preventive Maintenance work packages, and administratively maintaining the PM program. Additional position responsibilities include developing decontamination and dismantlement work packages to support decommissioning activities of a nuclear facility.

Job Description/Tasks


  • Preparing and updating safe and compliant work packages utilizing ALARA principles in accordance with Nuclear Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Environmental, Industrial, and Health and Safety program requirements to ensure completion within established deadlines and schedules.
  • Knowledge of planning requirements within the Nuclear industry (e.g. Design documents, Engineering modification packages, reference material, process and procedures), and the ability to quickly to start planning within the work management system.
  • Conducting walk-downs with craft, subject matter experts and field work supervisors to develop and plan work instructions for preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, construction, or surveillance activities of a nuclear facility conducting decommissioning, decontamination, and dismantlement activities,
  • Coordinating input from craft and SMEs from multiple organizations involved with planning and completing field work and resolving work planning issues.
  • Facilitate work package preparation by identifying isolation requirements (if required), scaffold, temporary power tasks, etc. Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable station procedures.
  • Job Hazard and Risk assessment analysis for work package planning
  • Performing administrative control of preventive maintenance software.
  • Works on a timeline, ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of work and initiates corrective measures to overcome delays.
  • Relies on experience and judgment.
  • Works under limited supervision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Multi-discpiline mechanical and electrical planning.


Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
Education

  • High school graduate or equivalent

Preferred Experience

  • Previous Nuclear Power Plant Experience

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years experience
  • Maintenance Planning

Required Certifications

  • None
