TEAM SUMMARY:
The regulatory compliance team at Nintendo of America is focused on bringing smiles to consumers by ensuring that our products are safe for everyone. To achieve this goal, we work closely with development teams across the company to meet regulatory requirements in North and South America. Great candidates will have a demonstrated record of collaborating with development and business teams to find win-win solutions. They will also be adept at providing easy to understand explanations for complex information and in balancing competing priorities. This is a hybrid role based in Redmond, WA.


DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Works with stakeholders across the organization to develop processes for Nintendo of America (NOA) that ensure compliance with legal regulations and standards for North and South America.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance standards are met with a focus on business impact of regulatory risks.
  • Reviews product label and packaging to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Reviews product safety test data and generates certificates of compliance.
  • Implements safety and wireless certification process for North and South America.
  • Monitors and analyzes compliance requirements from various sources for impact on Nintendo products and processes.
  • Provides education and training to NOA departments on compliance requirements.
  • Submits and maintains State and Federal product regulatory compliance registrations.
  • Gathers and submits product compliance data to support retailers.
  • Creates reports and proposals to enable management to make key decisions on compliance issues.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:



  • 5+ years of product regulatory compliance experience.
  • Well versed in U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Latin America wireless, safety and other consumer product regulations.
  • Experience developing product regulatory compliance processes.
  • Undergraduate degree plus relevant work experience.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $89,000 - $142,500 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
