Job Purpose and Objectives

Responsible for the vision, leadership, and operational oversight for facilitating and delivering work ethic curriculum focused on character development, personal accountability, and professional skills. This role is central to developing a strong work ethic mindset in students through engaging instruction, interactive activities, and meaningful assessments that promote the values of hard work, reliability, and professional responsibility across high school and college programs.

Job Competencies: Essential Functions

  • Facilitation of the work ethic curriculum that emphasizes personal accountability, reliability, perseverance, and professionalism.
  • Lead engaging learning experiences that reinforce the core tenets of a strong work ethic for diverse audiences, including high school and college students.
  • Adapt facilitation methods to effectively communicate work ethic principles to different age groups, skill levels, and learning styles.
  • Track and evaluate student progress, measuring outcomes related to character development and work ethic growth.
  • Model the principles of strong work ethic in all aspects of professional conduct and communication.
  • Facilitate guided discussion sessions that encourage critical thinking about the importance of work ethic in career success.
  • Utilize various instructional techniques including role-playing, group activities, and case studies to illustrate the practical applications of work ethic concepts.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students regarding their demonstration of work ethic principles.
  • Coordinate with academic deans to schedule work ethic workshops in each program.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance facilitation skills and content knowledge.
  • Assist with program evaluation, identifying areas for improvement and development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
Requirements

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Workforce Development, Technical Education, Business or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in education, training facilitation, workforce development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated belief in and commitment to the principles outlined in the work ethic pledge, including personal accountability, strong work ethic, and professional responsibility.
  • Proven track record of effectively engaging diverse audiences, particularly high school and college-aged students.
  • Experience with curriculum delivery, interactive facilitation, and classroom management.
