Assistant Director - Capitol Campus Georgetown University comprises two unique campuses in the nation's capital. The Capitol Campus student population includes undergraduate, graduate and law students. The Assistant Director will be part of a new team of Student Affair professionals at the Capitol Campus and will be responsible for overseeing student support and programming designed to promote a collaborative, integrated, community, create a sense of affinity to the campus and a sense of belonging for all capitol campus students. The Assistant Director for the Capitol Campus supports the overarching vision, mission, and strategic framework of Student Affairs at the Capitol Campus. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students, this position assists in creating the vision and building a shared community through developing, implementing, and assessing a broad range of programs and building environments; supporting, nurturing and encouraging student growth; and promoting health and well-being. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
Work Interactions This position reports directly to the Associate Dean of Students for the Capitol Campus and will work with diverse colleagues in the Division of Student Affairs as well as Capitol Campus partners, including within Mission and Ministry, academic units, and student services. This position has significant interaction with students, in advisory, conduct, and mentoring capacities. This position collaborates with Capitol Campus partners, including within Mission and Ministry, academic units, and student services. This position interacts with Washington, DC partners, including those from community-based organizations, DC and federal government, and District based cultural institutions. As necessary, this position interacts with emergency personnel, alumni, parents/families, and faculty. The Student Affairs office is a fast paced, student-centered environment. Student contact is extensive and substantive. Staff members work collaboratively within the office and with many other university-wide constituent groups including the HillTop campus. Staff members are expected to exercise a high degree of responsibility and independent judgment and to work irregular and sometimes long hours. Requirements and Qualifications

Pay Range: The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $47,586.00 - $87,558.13 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
