Attractive pay

$110,000.00 - $125,000.00

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities

As Senior Business Systems Analyst - Automation, you will be responsible for the collection, analysis, development and translation of business requirements to meet strategical and operational needs. This role supports moderately to highly complex projects, including initiatives focused on business process automation, task mining, and process mining. This role also identifies opportunities for optimization and leads efforts to drive digital transformation and operational efficiency while mentoring and supporting less experienced team members.

  • Supports the execution, implementation, and continuous improvement of a functional domain (i.e. product, claims, benefits) and competency (i.e. business process engineering, systems integration, enterprise architecture).
  • Examines the existing business model processes and objectives and works with various levels of end users to create the logical specifications for systems and process optimization that will provide a solution for the needs of moderate to complex clinical/operational/business problems.
  • Analyzes and documents current-state workflows using process and task mining tools to uncover automation opportunities and operations inefficiencies.
  • Develops business cases and ROI analysis for automation and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Performs the research necessary to create functional documents and standard operating procedures which will ensure that operational/business application systems can be effectively implemented to meet organizational needs.
  • Develops and maintains a good understanding of the business unit's primary operations, business environment, business processes, daily operational priorities, and current information technology trends in healthcare.
  • Develops, writes, and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions.
  • Identifies, and documents cross-functional business process flows needed to achieve successful business results.
  • Assists in the system deployment planning and execution which may include training material creations, training execution, user documentation, and Level 3 support of the system once deployed.
  • Mentors and transfers knowledge to less experienced team members. Provides advice, guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback.
  • Utilizes SQL queries and/or Excel solutions to gather and analyze data to understand business requirements as indicated on projects.
  • Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required-
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Ten (10+) years of experience in business analysis, process re-engineering or equivalent related job experience.
  • Experience with process/task mining and automation tool.
Preferred-
  • Knowledge of DMAIC, Lean, or Six Sigma methodology.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or CBAP certification.
  • Background in healthcare operations or similar regulated industries.
  • UIpath Process Mining, Microsoft Power Automate Process Mining/Task mining
