DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Security Officer 1, your main duty will be to safeguard the facility, its employees, visitors, contractors, property, and assets. This role involves performing daily patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the premises, managing traffic flow, collecting parking fees, and providing assistance to visitors. During peak show seasons, you will also be responsible for monitoring the Complex and parking areas to ensure a secure environment. The position requires a strong commitment to professionalism, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Adhering to established safety and security protocols is essential, as is the capacity to handle challenging situations and make swift, sound decisions. Clear and effective communication with leadership, colleagues, clients, and visitors is vital, and being able to respond promptly to emergencies is of the highest priority.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Temporary Full-time employment, without benefits
- Shifts available:
- Friday - Tuesday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (July - March)
- Wednesday - Sunday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (July - March)
- Tuesday - Saturday, Varying Hours (July - March)
- Saturday - Wednesday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (September - May)
- This position is considered essential and as such is required to report to working during emergencies and office closings.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
