Job Responsibilities.

* The Site Superintendent is responsible for managing the installation of commercial HVAC equipment within various vertical markets, positively representing the company in all client and architect/engineer interactions

* Work with end-users, sales staff, and prime contractors to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and deliverables

* The Site Superintendent helps oversee and communicate project progression from inception to completion, including design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation.

* Develops a comprehensive project plan to meet schedules and budgets. Conducts Work in Progress meetings

* Expected to develop working knowledge with Building Automation Systems (BAS) systems; Carrier i-Vu knowledge is a plus

* Understands and follows all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications

* Conveys a sense of professionalism, fairness, and concern for customers, labor, and management

* Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors

* Accurately forecast revenue each month by reviewing each project to estimate the value of work completed each month correctly

* Execute all major functions required for project management, including project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring, and project close-out

* Manage the Change Order process, assuring that scope creep does not occur

* Assure that all projects will be managed to or exceed the percentage of booked project margin

* Assure that job safety is priority on every project.

Basic Qualifications:

* H.S Diploma or GED

* 10+ years of experience in project management or 3+ years project management in mechanical installation or building automation or electrical installation or construction field.

* Must be able to read blueprints, structural drawings and understand complex building architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience and/or certification in BACnet; or LEED certification

* PMP certification or working towards PMP Certification.

* Associates Degree in electrical engineering or project management

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines.

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, both with internal and external customers.
