Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee a federal logistics support services contract in support of our client's Logistics Program. This role requires a seasoned leader who can manage day-to-day operations across multiple work streams, coordinate diverse project teams, ensure high-quality service delivery, and serve as the key point of contact for government stakeholders.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all contract requirements, including material management, inventory and asset control, logistics program oversight, data entry, equipment handling, and related administrative tasks. You will lead a team of technical and administrative professionals across potentially multiple locations, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of contract operations, coordinating multiple work streams and support teams across different locations.
  • Provide technical leadership and daily guidance to the team, ensuring the quality and consistency of all deliverables.
  • Lead all phases of project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out.
  • Organize and direct all logistics support activities, including material and inventory management, equipment handling, and information processing.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal regulations, safety standards, and contract terms.
  • Communicate regularly with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), government stakeholders, and the GSA Program Manager to report progress, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
  • Manage project staffing, performance evaluations, training, and supervision.
  • Oversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Facilitate CSS/4PL working groups, inspections, and assessments as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Support proposal development and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in project or program management, including experience leading logistics, supply chain, or federal contracting efforts.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex teams and multi-task projects in a government contracting environment.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management practices, including asset and inventory control, materials handling, and administrative support.
  • Proven ability to interact with mid-level and senior government officials.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with GSA MAS contracts and federal acquisition regulations is highly desirable.


Preferred Skills and Certifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
  • Experience supporting GSA, DoD, or other federal agencies.
  • Working knowledge of SIN 541614SVC and GSA MAS requirements.
  • OSHA/Safety Compliance experience, including use of PPE and handling of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
