Post-Doctoral Associate

The Driscoll Lab has an opening for a Post-Doctoral Associate to start in July, 2025.

Job duties will include:

Work with other lab members to design, plan, and implement complex research experiments within the context of a biological research plan (80%)

Communicate the findings of scientific studies in publications and at conferences (20%)

Required Qualifications:
- A B.S. degree related to a biomedical field.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD) in biomedical sciences or related field(s)
- Experience carrying out complex, long-term research projects.
- Experience with cell culture
- Experience with molecular biology techniques (cloning, PCR, nucleic acid extraction) and/or fluorescence microscopy
- Effective oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated publication record
- The ability to carry out experiments independently, including troubleshooting, optimization and reporting results

Pay Range: $62,232 annually; depending on education/qualifications/experience
