Primary Purpose of Department |
The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools, and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative, and service goals. |
Primary Purpose of Position |
This position supports the implementation and maintenance of the Salesforce
CRM by assisting with data entry, documentation, and troubleshooting. |
Summary of Position Responsibilities |
- Assist in building and customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools like Flows and Process Builder.
- Translate functional requirements from higher education stakeholders into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Support the development and maintenance of integrations between Salesforce and other campus systems.
- Participate in testing, documentation, and deployment of new features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve student and staff experiences through CRM innovation

Minimum Education/Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience working in a higher education environment (e.g., registrar's office, admissions, student affairs, academic departments).

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience |
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in learning Salesforce development and CRM best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Exposure to Salesforce through coursework, internships, or self-study.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Education Cloud or CRM systems in higher education.
- Experience with data management, reporting, or student lifecycle processes.
