Overview
Job Purpose As a leading provider in data services, The ICE Data Pricing & Reference Data offers real time and end-of-day pricing on 3.2 million fixed income securities. Our evaluated pricing spans over 150 countries and covers a wide range of financial instruments including sovereign, corporate and municipal bonds, structured products, and leveraged loans. The primary role of the Lead Fixed Income Operations Analyst position will be to support the evaluations process, perform daily and ad hoc responsibilities, responding to client inquiries, and identifying/implementing process improvements. Strong knowledge of fixed income markets and proficiency with Advanced Microsoft Office applications is a must.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily production tasks for products related to fixed income Evaluators
- Support global team of Evaluators with price affirmation and challenge issues
- Follow up and resolve evaluations data discrepancies, as necessary.
- Assist Evaluation team with any other projects or processes as required
- Act as liaison between Sales/Client Services and Evaluators
- Facilitate responses to questions/issues that span across multiple asset classes
- Responsible for UAT and regression testing for new product releases of SPER and JIRA entries where applicable
- Participate on Disaster recovery tests for FI systems such as Omega
- Maintain Evaluation Services calendar and holiday advisory notices
- Undertaking of ad-hoc projects as directed by management
- Use Excel functions to organize, analyze and create data
Knowledge And Experience
- Working experience in Operations with a focus on Fixed Income products in highly preferred
- Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, specifically VLookup, and Pivots
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Python
- Knowledge of the UAT process for the software development lifecycle
- Ability to collaborate with business analyst and product development teams
- Ability to manage time effectively, multi-task and prioritize workloads
- Team player with the willingness to take direction from senior management
- Independent self-starter, able to sustain productivity in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) preferred
New York Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $60,000 - 80,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
