Please note that this position is based in Princeton, NJ or San Diego, CA. Acadia's hybrid model requires this role to work in our office three days per week on average.

The Manager, Enterprise Systems is responsible for planning, implementing, integrating, and optimizing key enterprise systems to support Acadia's business units. This role ensures that technology is aligned with business needs, maintaining compliance and operational continuity of systems. In collaboration with IT Business Partners and various business functions, the manager defines documents and executes critical system processes. Additionally, this position oversees essential operational activities including budget management, communications, notifications, preparation of training materials, technology implementation / onboarding, and process automation.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Establish and document comprehensive procedures, workflows, and policies related to system administration and support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, document, and continuously improve key administrative business processes and requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Lead and manage system changes, including the development and oversight of change control processes, testing, validation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure GxP validated systems maintain a state of compliance by implementing proactive monitoring, overseeing validation efforts, and completing periodic reviews.
  • Lead system audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Create and review validation plans, test scripts, and other validation documentation in accordance with Acadia's computer system validation SOP and industry standards.
  • Oversee system administrative tasks in compliance with governing SOPs/Work Instructions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to quality standards.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks, enhance system efficiency, and support team scalability.
  • Develop, review, and oversee the creation of training materials, knowledge base articles, "How To" documents, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure consistency and usability.
  • Provide leadership in resolving systems challenges, coordinating with internal teams and vendors as needed.
  • Act as the primary liaison with managed services and vendor support teams, ensuring alignment and continuous improvement of operational processes.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for validated systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and emerging technologies.
  • Take ownership of system performance and reliability, including proactive monitoring and incident management to minimize downtime and impact on end users.
  • May be required to travel domestically or internationally to meet business needs.



Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or information systems. A minimum of 5 years of management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry-ideally, leading complex operational teams. An equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered.


Skills:



  • Experience with enterprise systems:

    • Veeva Vault
    • Veeva CRM
    • ServiceNow
    • Finance systems (Concur, Coupa, etc.)


  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Team leadership and collaboration experience
  • Ability to explain complex data to various audiences
  • Excellent attention to detail, including process documentation, requirements, training materials, and SOP
  • Must be able to travel domestically on occasion.


Physical Requirements:

This role involves regular standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands for handling or operating equipment. The employee may also need to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and maintain visual, verbal, and auditory communication in a standard office environment and while working independently from remote locations. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. This position requires the ability to travel independently overnight and/or work after hours as required by travel schedules or business needs.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.

$110,000 $137,700 USD
