Position Overview:

Responsible for spreading and analyzing financial statements, completing quarterly/annual reviews to ensure compliance with financial covenant requirements as well as accuracy of loan rating. With guidance from senior team members, underwrite straightforward credit transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Spread and analyze business and personal financial statements, basic projection modeling, accounts receivable and accounts payable agings; evaluate the information and prepare written presentations using current financial information and all other pertinent information



  • Perform due diligence on prospective clients in order to obtain information used in the preparation of analysis
  • Conduct industry analysis, risk grading and stress testing in the preparation of written credit analysis for commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate loans (CRE).
  • Develop/hone underwriting skills by working with senior team members on new deals and reviews/renewals
  • Attend meetings to discuss, as necessary, commercial credit proposals being presented by C&I and CRE Deal Teams
  • Track the receipt of financial reporting packages and inform Private Bankers and UWs when borrower financial statements and reporting packages are due
  • Work with Portfolio Manager to ensure that the receipt of financial reporting, covenant compliance and borrowing base information is properly recorded on Credit Track


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow information
  • Ability to analyze personal financial information as presented by Credit Bureaus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access & Outlook, Word, Excel, Co-Star, and Moody's
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to read, write, and speak English well
  • Able to deal effectively, tactfully, and courteously with customers, visitors, and the personnel of other departments
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

The approximate pay range for this position is $59,720 to $68,000, plus an opportunity to earn performance-based incentives. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
