Production Scheduler - Tipton, PA

Summary:

The production scheduler is responsible for meeting customer shipment demands by preparing weekly and daily production schedules.

Job Duties:

1. Coordinate product demands and shipments.
2. Weekly review of the MPS Workbench to assure MRP is planning to meet customer demand.
3. Sequence production lines for efficient flow while meeting demand.
4. Prepare weekly and daily production schedules to ensure that customer demands are met. Review of customer changes and adjusting schedule accordingly. Release shop orders to the plant floor, review and record production results and revise the schedule as necessary.
5. Comply with all VITRO EHS policies and procedures and relevant governmental regulations. Use good safety judgment and awareness at all times.

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistic, preferred
