Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for The Institute for Families (
IFF). This position reports to NJCSI's
CQI Supervisor.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Supports operational and instructional services provided by the Institute's commitment to the human services workforce, including the New Jersey Child Support Institute (NJCSI). NJCSI.
- Provides education to the state's child support system, including professionals within the state's County Board of Social Service Agencies, Administrative Office of the Courts and statewide Offices of Child Support Services.
- Supports instructors who deliver a wide array of online and in-person learning experiences, including foundational training, role-specific education, leadership development, and technical workforce development to ensure consistent, effective and high-quality service delivery across the state.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a human service or social service area with at least two (2) years of experiences or an equitable combination of related lived or professional experiences.

Certifications/Licenses |
- A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.
|
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Experience supporting training projects and workforce development projects, especially as related to the needs of instructors delivering education.
- Ability to build relationships with a range of human service professionals, a commitment to cultural humility and responsiveness, and strong administrative skills related to the planning and provision of training services.
- Ability to work with a great deal of independence and diplomacy, maintain sensitive matters with confidentiality, and handle a wide variety of tasks while maintaining their professionalism under pressure.
- Experience coordinating learning events and providing training services while recognizing the educational and administrative needs of instructors.
- Exceptional commitment to customer service.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Master's degree in social service area..
- Five years of experience.
- Experience coordinating large scale training or education projects, supporting the needs of educators and trainers providing instruction to adult learners, providing administrative support around payments, processes and various communication mechanisms to support training programs.

Equipment Utilized |
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel).
- Ability to coordinate and moderate online meetings and events using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to utilize a Learning Management System (LMS).

Physical Demands and Work Environment |
- General office environment with light lifting.

- Hours may need to be flexible to allow for evening and weekend work in training, site visits or related activities.
