Material Handler

Staffmark is hiring a reliable Material Handler to support warehouse operations at a busy distribution facility in North Charleston. If you have experience working in a fast-paced warehouse setting and are comfortable with physically demanding tasks, we want to hear from you!

$16.00/hour | 1st Shift | Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Load/unload products from trucks and vendor deliveries
• Inspect products for damage or defects
• Stage and store materials in proper locations
• Operate forklifts and order pickers (must be certified or willing to certify)
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and facility grounds
• Rotate inventory and ensure accurate labeling
• Assist with customer pickups and provide top-tier service
• Support quality assurance and safety initiatives
• Follow all safety and company policies
• Report any concerns to supervisors promptly

Requirements:

• Frequently lift/move up to 100 lbs
• Standing, walking, sitting, and using hands regularly
• Occasional kneeling, stooping, or crawling
• Visual and auditory awareness for safety-critical tasks
• 1+ year of general warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Familiarity with powered industrial trucks a plus
