OverviewThe Director, Microsoft Corporation Stakeholders Voluntary Political Action Committee (MSVPAC) holds a significant role within Microsoft's U.S. Government Affairs team, which is part of the Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) organization. This role entails helping to shape the strategic direction of Microsoft's Political Action Committee (PAC) and linking corporate priorities with political initiatives. The Director, MSVPAC manages the strategic, operational, and day-to-day functions of Microsoft's Political Action Committee. This role includes creating strategies to grow and sustain PAC membership, building relationships to boost member engagement, and ensuring that MSVPAC activities align with Microsoft's corporate goals. It requires a deep understanding of federal legislative and political processes, which must be clearly communicated to both existing and prospective PAC members. Responsibilities Developing strategies to grow PAC membership through recruitment, marketing, and engagement activities.Ensuring compliance with federal, state, local laws, and internal policies related to PAC contributions and reporting.Managing fundraising campaigns and events, involving executives and employees in political and PAC-related initiatives.Collaborating with the U.S. Government Affairs team to align state and federal programs.Working with internal stakeholders to align MSVPAC initiatives with Microsoft's business goals and resources.
