SCHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Teams, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform globally with our server and data center infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions. To achieve this goal, the Hardware, Infrastructure Management, and Fundamentals Engineering (HIFE) team is instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of success for hardware manufacturing, improving the planning process, quality, delivery, scale, and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. We are looking for results-driven, and intellectually curious development Hardware Program Managers with dedicated passions for customer focused solutions, insight and industry knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that will manage and optimize the Cloud infrastructure. The development hardware program manager will play a pivotal role in E2E product development of infrastructure hardware and multi-source programs at scale that have a significant impact the business and Azure. The candidates will collaborate with both internal Microsoft teams and external partners (OEMs/ODMs, Systems, and others to driver delivery of high-quality products to our production fleet that enable our business success at scale. If you are an experienced Senior Hardware Program Manager with experience building high-performing, diverse cross-functional teams and a broad background in enterprise data center technologies from servers to infrastructure, processors, GPU's and high-power computing solutions and a desire to work with some of the world's most talented engineers to deliver the hardware that drives the Cloud, then this is the opportunity for you!
ResponsibilitiesQuality targets are met.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement features, processes, and workflows for Azure hardware and SKU enablement.Align stakeholders and manage execution through key milestones.Provide clear program updates and insights to leadership.Track product and program performance using key metrics and KPIs.Navigate complex technical and business challenges, driving resolution and delivering impact.Own product specs, BOMs, release management, and engineering build coordination.Oversee design verification and ensure timely bug closure.
