The Vice President of Transaction Management & Lease Administration leads all transaction acquisition, disposition, development, and property administration activity for corporate Real Estate Shared Services.They are responsible for developing and implementing all real estate strategies, overseeing transaction delivery and property administration teams to ensure the company's real estate portfolio is performing optimally and aligned with business objectives. This position has functional oversight of Transaction Management, Enterprise Property Administration and Real Estate Legal Services.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Strategy: Develop and implement long-term real estate strategies aligned with the enterprise business objectives


    • Deliver a unified property administration platform encompassing all enterprise real estate. All real estate agreements will be housed within a single cloud-based software platform
    • Accelerate integration of owned entities of UHG into a corporate managed model
    • Reduce transaction churn, improve transaction quality, maintain flexibility and reduce net operating expenses
    • Architect and implement purpose built holding structures to benefit enterprise strategies and operations
    • Establish strategic alliances which accelerate complex Real Estate development opportunities and enhance business profitability
    • Lead opportunistic Property Purchase Program and other real estate control restructuring efforts


  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance of the company's real estate portfolio, including property administration, leasing, and landlord/tenant relations
  • Development: Manage and oversee feasibility analysis and development of high value properties, including site selection, budgeting, and construction
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage department budgets, analyze enterprise financial performance of delivered transactions, ensure financial compliance with business objectives, target future financial outcomes (region, sector specific)
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of real estate professionals, ensuring their development and performance
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain solid internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, including multi-site landlords, development partners, regulatory and banking agencies
  • Legal & Risk Management: Lead resolution of real estate disputes, including acting as subject matter lead on all real estate related litigation
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all real estate activities comply with relevant laws and regulations

Required Qualifications:



  • 10+ years of experience in executive real estate management, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, and property administration
  • Proven experience managing large portfolios in a high volume, fast paced environment fueled by aggressive mergers, acquisition and disposition activity
  • Demonstrated success partnering with outsourced serviced partners for Transaction Management and Lease Administration
  • Proven solid strategic planning and financial management skills
  • Proven excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Proven effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in real estate



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Current or prior experience on the Real Estate team



Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $196,600 to $337,100 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
